How much Storage needed for server updates?
 

Okay so me and my mates are playing CSGO for fun now a days on our server hosted on AWS.

Initially I allocated 32Gigs of storage on it because I heard server files is like 28Gigs and extra storage for recorded demos.

But I noticed that whenever there is an update it downloads new server files before deleting old ones and it fails (cause 4gb FREE is not gona do it).

So how much more space should I give to it so that updates go smootly ?

We get charged for per GB storage so dont want to overpay.:grrr::grrr: Hope you guys understand.

csgo SRCDS is about 32.5GB size, installed.

maps are over 100MB in these days...

Well its appx 29Gigs on my server but whenever there is an update it re-downloads the 29gigs before deleting any files for updates so it fails.

you could try delete first csgo/*.vpk files and then update :/

Somehow I met with such a problem. He even asked write for me a code that would solve it himself, but it didn’t work out.
