Thanks for the updates bl4nk i think your idea of fixing it via those who have no weapons equipped is the best method.

This plugin tends to cause log files to get super inflated in size.

While I do like logging, I would suggest adding in a convar to disable logging so people with fairly popular servers don't end up with 500MB+ logs.

nice plugin but the logs are so large that it had to be disabled.

I've been using this plugin, but on my medieval server some bots still spawn as civilians, even though this catches some of them. Not sure if it's actually a glitch with some plugins like tf2items or other plugins that I might have that modify respawns/weapons.

Log-less version attached below. Just removed the two or three logging-related lines so this thing won't flood your logs.

This plugin doesn't seem to be doing anything on my server. Occasionally some bots/players spawn with missing weapons, their hud shows their hands around an invisible weapons (I know this is a common civilian issue), the console fills with ccfixer saying XXX tried to go civilian over and over, but no fix.
