sv_maxupdaterate 40
sv_minrate 2500
sv_minupdaterate 20

does it look good? or something i can change to get the server even better?

I Use Lan Rates with my server and all player less than 30/40 ms.

EDIT: Exept Others Country Players.

The best server's network settings = lan rate, but you don't have to force players to use at maximun rate because not all users can have a good connection to your server.

try

sv_maxupdaterate 101
sv_minupdaterate 50
sv_maxrate 25000
sv_minrate 8000 (enough and no affect by bottle-neck)

You may increase your server fps by changing sys_ticrate (default = 100.0)
sys_ticrate 500 // with this, server should have 150-250fps(350fps burstable) and enough for a lan rated internet server.


I think this guide is useful for ones who don't know how much network setting they need in their server.

ps. Do not judge server network quality by number, use your feeling and try to feel bullets register or any reactions(keep checking your server fps by using stats in server console or using rcon).
