[L4D2]Being Admin on local server.
 

Hey

I was wondering if there was a way to be automatically admin when you select "Local Hosting Server" , is this possible ?

If you have readed my post , i search a way to be admin when i choose "local hosting server" , not when i choose "steam group server" , and then select my server.

Just put sourcemod for windows in your games folder. this is working for cs:s, so it should work for l4d2 too. for me in cs:s it's then in steam/steamapps/username/counter strike source/cstrike/addons and ../cfg

Thanks but i'm not dumb enough not to know how to install a dedicated server.

I want to be an admin with all the kick , ban etc commands WHEN I SELECT "HOST LOCAL SERVER" in the lobby. I don't want to have to go though l4d2 dedicated server tool .

lol dude read what I said. Just put sourcemod in your local game folder. nothing more.

Does metamod work when you host a listen server? Which version SM/MM? I think it was broken recently and only dedicated server works.

From my understanding earlier, SM 1.4.1, 1.4.2, 1.4.3 has been uncompatible with l4d2 local hosted servers.
Same with the development branch.

From what i am understanding , i have to put "sourcemod" , "metamod" and "metamod.vpk" in my game's root ? (in the first "left4dead2" folder)
