Re: Grenade Trail

Re: Grenade Trail

Well, look at this: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=2008

Has been already released. The difference is that this can specify any color which is good.

Anyways nice job! :)

Re: Grenade Trail

As anssik already stated, this has already been done. The difference of being able to set your own color isn't really enough to warrant a new plugin.

If you want this approved you'll have to do more.

Re: Grenade Trail

Regardless of whether or not there is an equivalent plugin, just take a look at the source code. It's beautifully simple.

Re: Grenade Trail

I've reviewed the code of this plugin and can say that the technical method are incorrect. Author doesn't care about multiple grenades thrown by the same player in a short time interval. I will not unapprove it only because nobody have complained about that issue. So even though that new plugin isn't unique the technical methods are quite reliable. So i'd gave a chance for this one.

Re: Grenade Trail

sometimes people only want to make things simple. and i can't imagine what more to add. it's just what it is , grenade trail. but any good idea is welcome. thank you all above.

Re: Grenade Trail

Definately a better version than AssKicR's plugin. Tx jim_yang.

And yes rainbow trails sounds cool :)

Re: Grenade Trail

Yes, there are other plugins with the same concept. The default option nades specific is awesome. I have also tested out AssKicr 05-17-04 and the nade trails begins after the nade is thrown with a 1 second delay not "sexy". Thanks jim-yang this is definitly what I have been looking for.

Can you change the colors?

Arkshine 09-23-2008 17:55

Re: Grenade Trail

Change yourself. Cvars exist for that. See the first post. ( grenade_he, grenade_fb, grenade_sg )

Re: Grenade Trail

Is there a command to make it stay.
So you don't have to keep doign the cvars everytime
like on server.cfg or anything?

Can you tell us why it not work?

If you have access to your game server's console, type the following in the server console:
  1. version
  2. meta list
  3. meta version
  4. amxx list
  5. amxx version
  1. Paste here the entire result from the *version, *cvarlist, *meta list, *meta game,
*meta version, *amxx list, *amxx cvars, *amxx modules and *amxx version commands.

If you don't have access the your game's server's console, join your server and type the
following in your game console:
  • rcon_password "your_rcon_password"
  • rcon version
  • rcon meta list
  • rcon meta version
  • rcon amxx list
  • rcon amxx version
