the last steam update
 

is it just me or did that really screw things up? i cant use adminmod to admin_ct or admin_t players anymore.. it says it does it but it doesnt. seems like now steam crashes all the time. anybody else having any problems or should i just download steam again?

i havent had any problems except that i get a lot of steam verification errors

this was a good update against hackers.... just about all hacks dont work now.. but there are the few hackers that make their own hacks that are still hacking so theres only about 50 or less ppl using hax that work, unless some new hax were released after the update... i got this info from a neighbor that hax and cant hack anymore cus of the update haha that idiot

yeah i know that vac2 was officially implemented, but i dont cheat, and still when i try to connect to some servers it says there is a verification or vailidation error.

yeah i definately noticed better anti-hack performance after the updates, but it seems like some things dont work anymore.. and steam crashes fairly often now. befor this update i never had steam crash

I was apparently having some problems with meta mod and amxx on some servers I had admin on and couldn't run any amx commands through console, unless it brought up a menu (like amxmodmenu) but I had someone verify it was just me so I don't know what's going on..

did it say you didnt have access? or did it act like it didnt know the command (ignore it or say unknown command)

thats quite an idiotic estimate.
the new "update" has left steam more vulnareable to hackers. although it bans hackers, there are several ways to skip the security module check.

3 of my steam accounts are VACed (for cheating, not hacking.)
yet, i can play in secure and insecure servers, freely.

It's the VAC2 security module that makes the verifications fail. Because I connected to an unsecure and it worked fine.
