would make things a lot easier, directly banning away from the status output rather than converting it back to the regular steam id.

it only displays now the ID3 in the ban/block details, if you try to ban/block someone with the ID3 it says "Please enter a valid Steam ID or Community ID"

Hey,

since last version i have this error and bans or mutes from servers aren't being sent to database heres the error:

L 02/16/2016 - 20:19:14: [sourcecomms.smx] Lost connection to DB. Reconnect after delay.
L 02/16/2016 - 20:19:14: [sourcecomms.smx] Query_AddBlockInsert failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<' at line 1
L 02/16/2016 - 20:19:14: [sourcecomms.smx] Saving punishment for STEAM_*:*:******** into queue
L 02/16/2016 - 20:19:14: [sourcecomms.smx] Failed to query database. (near "*********": syntax error)

plugin issue probably, i've experienced similar issues.

Can someone with SourcePawn experience please fix the issues above, I am a web developer, I don't make plugins, thats why all the plugin changes were done by other people.

Any Webpanel issues will be ignored as I am now starting development on the v2.0 webpanel. The plugins will be from SourceBans 2.0-dev

Plain and latest version of SourceBans++ (v1.5.4) giving those errors if i try to ban someone

Hello, i use workshop maps, but when i upload the map image in sourcebans page it wont work, on non workshop maps it works. the problem is the image file name must have workshop/XXXXXX/mapname.jpeg but in linux and windows operating systems does not allow / in file name.

i think you can retrieve the map name by using host_info_show or host_players_show, i dont know if it helps

Make sure those other servers are set the the correct server id. To see what id it should be, log into the admin panel and click the servers tab. Each server should have a number in front of it. That is the number you use in the sourceban.cfg

And that "Disconnect: STEAM UserID ...." message, what happens if you wait 5 minutes (+/- some seconds) after seeing that message, can you join again then?

SB++ was based on the official SB 1.4.11.

When you were banned in SB 1.4.11, and you joined a server, you would be kicked like you explain with the reason "You have been banned...".

At this stage, a temporary 5 minutes ban would be added on the game server, as a "ban cache" for 5 minutes, so that individual game server would remember the ban for some time. I believe this was done to save some database queries for people spamming the server with rejoins.

I believe the ban cache is what you see. Wait for at least 5 minutes after that "You have been banned..." and you should be able to connect again.

Alternative is, use your game server's console:

1. Type "listid".
2. Find your Steam ID, and the number next to it.
3. Type "removeid #xx" where xx is the number next to your Steam ID.

Has nothing to do with sourcebans and everything to do with that your server is an admin of itself. As far as I know, it is safe to ignore.

I know, but the problem is the spam, this error spam my logs errors a lot!

And when i remove it in the adminsimple, it's come back few moment later.

I created a pull request to remove this error and pass a warning instead. If the whitelist file is inaccessible or missing, the plugin will continue without loading it and notify you in error session. https://github.com/Sarabveer/SourceBans-Fork/pull/127

v2.0 is based of the current Alpha version of SB 2.0.
