Disable CSDM equip menu

Is there a way to completely disable the CSDM equip menu and use the normal buy menu with buying weapons and ammo?

Did You try this way below?

In csdm.cfg:

[equip]

;Equip Menu flags:
; p - primary
; s - secondary
; a - armor
; g - grenade
; b - buy
menus = b

I am going to try that out. Will the normal CSDM menu show up?

Probably yes (which probably isn't a desired function in Your case), but just try it.
