csgo server mapcycle.txt resets
 

Hello

i haven't bothered with this problem but since my clans server been adding lots of maps. The problem is everyday or when the server restarts the mapcycle.txt resets to default causing the votemap function to only have 8 default maps. I want it to save the mapcycle.txt i put. Thanks in advance.

in server.cfg
mapcyclefile "mapcycle2.txt"
and do another mapcycle file

This is the first I've heard of CS:GO clearing the mapcycle... does this have something to do with the gamemodes.txt / gamemodes-server.txt file?

opps my bad after a day it still resets mapcycle.txt but mapcycle2.txt is untouched but it seem to still load mapcycle.txt

you have some external device doing this, sorry it's an isolated event. There is more then 5 maps by default anywho.

still no solution oh well guess i have to paste mapcycle all the time

Can you paste your server.cfg and autoexec.cfg files?
