Hello guys i am new member of AlliedModders

and i want to start understanding the counter strike world and all stuffs

and i have some questions i hope you answer me

if i want i buy a zombie mod to put it in my server

should i buy sma ?

or buy amxx?

or buy zp files?

or buy the ressources?

i hope you guys answer me because i don't wanna be scammed and thanks in advance

SMA files are what are used to make the AMXX. It is essentially illegal under United States law (because it's against the AM license) to give out the AMXX without also offering the SMA.

Ideally, you should recieve the SMA, open it up in Notepad and look for anything fishy, and compile it into an AMXX file yourself.

so you're telling me if i want to buy any cs 1.6 mod and wanted to put it in my cs 1.6 server i need the sma

and what do you mean about looking for anything fishy ? and compiling it to amxx ?


and should i bought sma +amxx of the mod or what ?

Search how to compile plugins. SMA files are what you need, this are the files with the code.
AMXX files are the compiled SMA files which you can generate yourself with a compiler.

Do not ever buy only amxx files. If you want some changes to the plugins you bought and you only got the amxx file then it is impossible.

but i still have questions, since i am noob and don't have a big knowledge in cs 1.6 and i don't wanna be scammed for real guys

can you show me how sma look and how amxx looks ?

and how to compare between sma and amxx ?

and if it possible show me screen shoot please guys i am really afraid of being scammed because i wanna start learning the world of cs 1.6 and thank you in advance guys ^^

Why you want to buy mod? Cant you just download the mod and start a server with it? If you are new, be sure your server will not be successful from the first time.

.sma files are files that contain the code (the functions of the plugin) - server dont need sma files. When you compile the sma file, it becomes amxx file. The amxx file is used by the server. To write sma file, you need scripting knowledge.

Thanks for the answer GolbalPlague yeah you got a point i am not gonna make my server successful from first time.

about dowlanding any zombie plague mod nah i don't want that i wanna learn in a zombie plague that i wanna buy from that guy from hes server but i am afraid of being scammed you know this life man they are only scammers in it

as far as i know now from you guys if i want to buy a mod the guy must give me the sma + amxx right ?
and the server must contain amxx files to work not sma files right ?

@Hamlet Eeagle my friend i tried to search first ofcourse but i didn't found what i am looking for and you know i am still new for all that world. and i am trying to improve my self
