Conversion of the SAS Hide & Seek EventScripts plugin by Colster and strontiumdog to SourceMod. All credit goes out to them for making the original. Thanks to strontiumdog for the third person script for SourceMod.

Cvars
sm_hidenseek_enabled (0/1, default 1)
Enable/disable DoD:S Hide & Seek.

sm_hidenseek_min (default 3)
Minimum players required for DoD:S Hide & Seek. I wouldn't recommend setting this lower than 3.

sm_hidenseek_random (0/1, default 0)
Enable/disable random models for DoD:S Hide & Seek.

sm_hidenseek_switch (0/1, default 1)
Enable/disable in-round model switching for DoD:S Hide & Seek. This allows you to aim at a model in-game, press your use key and it'll allow you to change to it.

sm_hidenseek_3rd (0/1, default 1)
Enable/disable switching players to third person on spawn for DoD:S Hide & Seek.

sm_hidenseek_winlimit (default 6)
Maximum rounds before a map change for DoD:S Hide & Seek.

Commands
You can bind +3rd/-3rd to any key to switch from first person view to third person and back.

Folders
dod_hidenseek.smx > plugins
hidenseek.txt > configs
hidenseek.phrases.txt > translations

This plugin is still alpha, it doesn't work that well yet, but there's only so much you can test with yourself and a couple of bots :P I just wanted to get it out there, maybe you guys can run it and see what bugs you can find.

a first lob your work are very well continue so :-)
had me hide and seek on my server, and tried to play works even game starts and turns, the control is very difficult when the first wehrmacht soldier have been killed, he is flying right from the server when the second soldier W erschlägt the object, the server and is down from the console says he does not est_ to him missing what the errors lie?

Those est_ commands are probably from ES Tools and has nothing to do with my plugin. Make sure you remove anything EventScripts related.

sourcemod now only have it and when I hideandseek game in the first round beat a player stops the server

Whats can i say GREAT MOD!!!! we have been waiting for this since mani stopped working properly , the only thing is it crashed the server after the first round :(

Hello,

I'm testing the plugin in our server. We have the SourceMod v1.1.0.2434.

The plugin does not work for us. It says "the round will start..." but when the round starts, the hiders are invisible for everyone.

The menu with the models doesn't appears. The seekers can't see the hiders because they are invisible.

The switch key does not work :(

In wich version of sourcemod you run this plugin ?
I want this plugin in my server running. I'm waiting for it a lot of time !!

Continue with your work. This plugin will be great !

I also crashed running one of the latest builds MetaMod:Source v1.6.2.703V, SourceMod v1.1.0.2431. Windows.

The round start was not a problem, the menu and models all work ok, I can't nail down what the crashes were from yet, it was always associated with an axis killing a allied player when it crashed.

3D person "steering" is not popular and people struggle with it.

I will see if I can get more info. The little I have played with it ... I love it even with the crashes.

Damn it's good to see this is making a come back.... very popular mod in our clan. Also running your gun game... works very well.

Yep
SM is quickly replacing ES as the DoDS plugin standard since ES_Tools died.

if we only could get that randompick / and roundwin to work - that would be great! I am not so familiar with sm as with es :cry: ...

Alrighty, I updated it, and switching works now. Unfortunately a lot of models (like sandbags and crates) are compiled into the map, so you can't always switch to those. Also it only allows you to switch to models that are in the config. I'm not sure if the crashing is fixed yet.
