High Server var - AMD Processor

Need your suggestions:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (6 cores 3.4 Ghz)
OS: Windows 10
16 GB Ram
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk b350

Running a 128 tick csgo server with 12 slots, and I am getting server var 0.300+
Would like to get that var lowered. I feel given my hardware specs, I should be getting solid performance.

Note: OS power setting already on High Performance
Note 2: when I run csgo server and bind it on a specific CPU core, the var jumps from 0.3 to 4.0 and then back down i.e. it gets worse.

Anybody know what exactly could be causing this? Why am I not getting 0.00x var?

Thanks!

What makes you think that you should be getting a lower var on Ryzen 2600? It has 6 cores but not strong cores. To get most performance you need 1 strong core not multiple cores. Your hardware choice was wrong.

I love my Ryzen 2600x, but its not designed for single core performance. Others factors such as OS and what not also hinders your performance.

And SRCDS is old 32bit.

Here cpu benchmark single thread

Hi,

You need to know SRCDS is old 32bit.
I don't have issue with the "var" since i'm using Linux.

Ryzen threadripper 1950X
32GB DDR4,
4x 250GB SSD

My server is running with var: 0.000-0.001 ;)

If you have any question just ask. ^^

Var 0.300 is because of Windows. I had a couple of Servers from vilayer, they use high end Hardware and Windows... var 0.300. on my Dedicated machines same var with Windows.

There is and will be no difference var 0.00x - 0.300, it should never go above 1.000

I don't use CentOS ;) i'm only using Debian 9. with a gameserver kernel, and i did make a little changes on /etc/default/grub.conf + /boot/grub/grub.cfg (you don't need to use update-grub!)

Code:

intel_idle.max_cstate=0 processor.max_cstate=1 idle=poll intel_pstate=disable
This parameters, i'm using on my server. I don't have any issues. //Not longer in use anymore!

- Which kernel version are you using? //(I don't longer use IP-projects)

**I did create own CustomKernel for CSGO Servers**
