Budding TF2 Creator Requesting help
 

Hey there AlliedModders viewers,

I'm looking into creating stuff for TF2, like mods, weapon skins, custom weapons, maybe maps, and items, and I was wondering where I might want to look for advise on where to start for all those?

I tried asking around a few communities and pretty much all of them pointed me here, but I'm a little confused since this forum seems to be for more HL2 and Source mods? I know TF2 runs on Source but it just seemed a little confusing to me.

This is the right place. Sourcemod allows you to create plugins for Team Fortress 2 (and many other games). Each plugin allows you to modify the game in some way. Feel free to visit my TF2 server to view some unique Sourcemod plugins in action. I'm currently running 289 plugins. Most of the plugins I use are from here, some modified by me and a few were made by me. Everything that is not stock TF2 is the result of a plugin.
