I've taken it into a bit different direction, changing some sensitive aspects, so I decided that my pull request wouldn't be accepted anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't compiled the Windows version so if anyone wants, go ahead.

Yup L4D2 has never been not supported, he added 3? natives, which I added a couple hours later. There's definitely been no reason for a fork; unless if I'm missing something significant.

Saying again, KyleS, it would be cool if you implement smth like SW_ReqGroupStatus to check if the client a member of certain Steam group(and his group status too). just like the SteamTools does, but working for L4D2. What about it?

Hey KyleS.

The extension I am using is not working correctly with linux.
I am using SW_OnValidateClient, but on Linux it is not grabbing the ownerauthid or the authid correctly. But on Windows using the DLL is is working 100% fine.

Thanks!

Installation Instructions:
If your server was last updated before February 7th 2014, you need the latest SteamClient. I've included this from the redistributable portion of the SteamWorks SDK (1.28). This goes in the bin directory beside your gamedir.

What's the difference between this and SteamTools?

Re: [ANY] SteamWorks

SteamTools has features that don't work on certain engine branches and therefore has no support for them.

Does Steam_RestartRequested work with this extension?
SteamTools' forward doesn't fire on TF2 and it seems it has been like this for at least 2 weeks.

Yes, if you use GameData to specify the interface version.

Re: [ANY] SteamWorks

My plugin works fantastic for around an hour, then it will disable VAC and no SteamID's can be found.
Is there a thing where I have to close the connection or something?

Thanks,
