works great. ran into a problem though, when importing banned IPs from banned_ip it would work fine but when importing banned ID's from banned_user, it would not work. had to get McKay to run a script on my banned users that was ~100 bans long to convert from SID3 to SID, worked thereafter.

Can we get a sourcemod native for AddAdmin with the same input fields for the "Add New Admin" on the web panel?

(The add admin in whichever sb version has sb_admins.sp and sb_bans.sp thing doesn't work).

hey, when I try to use RCON on web panel I get http://i.imgur.com/dE0jwKN.png
and when I ban any nerd using sm_ban, he gets banned but no ban shows in database

what might I be doing wrong?

Two feature requests:
- Different admin permissions for the same admin, based on servers (like group A for Servers A and B, but group B for Server C... or the allowance of setting different flags)

- Selective server banning, ie the abillity to ban a user on Servers A and B, but not on Server C. (Ofc, ban on all by default)

Well, you can always use admins.simple.ini to give only certain flags for certain players.

And you can add the player to banned_users.cfg (or something similar in csgo/cfg).

That error is a bug, and we all know. Don't worry about it. It's annoying, but just deal with it.

But If you want to really do a clean upgrade, then delete everything in your SB install except config.php. Then Drag and Drop.

Is there anyway we can limit ban times for different custom flags? I saw some plugins that were made for that but they don't work with this fork of sourcebans or they require a bunch of editing.

They should work with this. The base hasn't changed, so most plugins still work fine.

Will look more into that later for setting that up.

However.... had another one..... what about setting up automatic graduated bans? Like, for example.... in the web panel.... first offense for a certain offense is 1 week, then 2 weeks then Perma..... and in the Bans Admin menu and command, have an option that says "Graduated" or something similar to that. Just to make it easier for servers that have multiple admins and don't keep track of each person's individual ban record.

I have an idea that would be a great addition for myself and probably others as well

Configurable bans and silences
Basically rather than banning or silencing a player for x time, you simply ban or silence the player, then they are handled by several configured durations. For the sake of ease, lets just say these are 5 minutes and 10 minutes

You silence a player and after a database query, the plugin finds the player has no previous silences and thus issues a 5 minute silence.

Again you silence a player, database query shows 1 previous silence and thus issues a 10 minute silence automatically on said player.

Thoughts?

Command "sm_silence" problem that does not take the time set on CSGO :

it is a problem because the plugin with the command "sm_ban" it does not pose a problem

MariaDB not does not work anymore (Never was supported anyways)

Maria is almost equal to Mysql.
What is reason that doesn't support anymore ?

SourceBans has always been requiring MySQL. Not any extensions, forks or whatever - even if build on or "almost equal" to MySQL.

So there is so answer to why MariaDB isn't supported anymore; it has just NEVER been before.

Hi, I have just a litte issue after migrating sourcebans from an host to another.

I have imoprted mysql db and copied the /www folder of sourcebans. Everything works except the 'ban' page which doesn't show anything.

I have just an error in apache log but i think it's not related :

Wed Jun 17 10:46:45 2015] [error] [client <client_ip>] File does not exist: /var/www/sourceban/themes/default/images/dialog, referer: http://<host>/themes/default/css/css.php

I also triied to override php memory limit in the config.php and php.ini :
define('SB_MEM', '512M');

EDIT : Same with "no country research"

Nothing new :/

if you are using MariaDB you will likely see everything work (including all in game functionality) but the bans page will be blank. the error is below.

To resolve this, i simply commented out line 77 from adodb-errorhandler.inc.php which uses a function that exists in MySQL 5.6 but is not supported in MariaDB. Keep in mind MariaDB and MySQL are no longer 100% compatible since the release of MySQL 5.6 and this is by design.
