[L4D2] basecommands.smx preventing scavenge cans spawn
greetings
recently ive had troubles hosting my l4d2 server because sourcemod plugin basecommands.smx prevents gas cans from spawning and defaults goal to 16 on scavenge maps such as no mercy rooftop . console output Code:

doesn't make much sense to be basecommands looks like a false positive for me
you should share your sm plugins list instead |

I can not test and confirm this problem. OS is Windows?
But, you are using Metamod:Source version 2.0.0-dev+1280 - Does it help if you upgrade to stable 1.11 ? https://www.sourcemm.net/downloads.php/?branch=stable Also, If you are willing to try, older basecommands plugin: https://www.sourcemod.net/downloads....1.11-dev&all=1 Go way down SM list, so you see Build 6487. Download zip pack, but take only compiled basecommands plugin, smx in you server, nothing else. This skip two last changes made in plugin past 4 years. - Does it make any difference ? Basecommands plugin does "ParseConfigs()" on map start, it update config files list in admin menu, "configs/adminmenu_cfgs.txt" It also update admin menu map list "Choose Map" ...dunno, does this part have conflict with l4d script files. |

Is dedicated or local/listen server? may be some addon conflict too (.vpk / workshop)

The actual cause for no cans is that director is unaware of level change via any other way than vote/transition.
