RAM: 4GB
and 1GB / s Internet connection

I have 6 CS 1.6 Servers With mod's

Full 22 slot server Using 40% CPU memory, but thats Not possible .. because on WinOS 7 full 22 slot server use 10% of CPU
Empty server on Gentoo Linux without amxmodx with 2 players online Using 6% CPU memory

Is it possible the kernel Not Optimized or something else? Because cs server is not guilty ..

Re: hlds high cpu usage!

Hello Linuxs

This is normal if your server :

pingboost 3 and sys_ticrate > 1000

In this case more use CPU.

If : pingboost 2 and sys_ticrate 10000 less use CPU.

In the first case more fps (more stable fps) but the game accelerate

For Optimization Kernel :

http://wiki.fragaholics.de/index.php...l_Optimization

pingboost 0 !?. For me Possible Values 2 o 3. Value 1 not work. What's 0 ?

For correct sys_ticrate

Re: hlds high cpu usage!

this problem is dynamic tick kernel. You use centos 5 and kernel 2.6.18 vanilla.
