Regarding CS:GO compatibility... I know it hasn't been announced that it supports it yet, but thought I'd share my findings when trying to run it (for use with Updater):

With SteamTools, I get this error:

I would have thought CS:GO would be based on the Source 2009 (aka Source MP aka OrangeBox Valve) engine. Is that not the case?

It's a distinct engine off the Portal 2 branch.
