New to SourceMod, need help with adding admins
3 Attachment(s)
Having a lot of trouble getting myself to be an admin on the server I started up, I've followed every instruction I can find down to the letter, but no luck. Specifically, the problem is getting the /admin command in TF2's chat on my server to work. It gives me the "[SM] You do not have access to this command." error. I've configured the admins_simple.ini file already, not sure if it's right though. Already configured the admins.cfg file as well. Again, could be some errors in there. I've also added myself to a group named "Owner" which I intended to be what separated me from the lesser admins, this group was configured to give me all of the powers of an admin, regardless of the level of the command. Down below I've attached some of my files for others to look at and see if they can identify problems in the formatting or whatever else. If more info is needed, please let me know. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: New to SourceMod, need help with adding admins
Valve recently changed the format of SteamIDs for TF2... you need a recent (4558 or newer) SourceMod 1.6.2 snapshot in order to get the old format to work again.
Edit: Incidentally, the new format "[U:1:whatever]" doesn't work in admins_simple.ini |
Re: New to SourceMod, need help with adding admins
I've already got the latest version of SM, downloaded last night. All I need to know is what I should put in for it to work, what SteamID is the proper version for SM? And how can I get the proper SteamID?
