[L4D2] Stuck forever loading (black screen)
 

Hello guys. I recently started to have a problem with my server, everytime I try to join my server it gets stuck at around 75% and when pressing ESC and opening console, the game says

(This happened after I added 3 plugins yesterday. I already tried deleting the 3 plugins And the download file but the problem still is there)


File 'downloads/383fd85a.dat' requested from (server-ip).

do you have these cvars on your server at all???

sv_allowupload 0
sv_allowdownload 0

try changing these to 1 if its 0 and to 0 if its a 1

also on your client you can look at

cl_allowdownload
cl_allowupload

SV for server and CL for client

L4D1 has the same problem, it exists with more than 4 players. Players can press the console key three times to load in, but this is not a solution that all players know about.
