Hello,

I have a own surf server but i will change a view settings but they are set in smx files (?), but i can't edit these, wich program or script do i need?

You need to edit the .sp files in the "scripting" folder, then compile them with spcomp(.exe for windows), and then move the newly compiled .smx from scripting to plugins.

It's included with Sourcemod.

What i need to know is how do you actually edit the smx files ?

Sorry, I have the same question. I have read TSCDan answer but I didnt understand it at all. Can someone give me the answer what should I do with this file smx file if I want to edit it. Step by step if this is possible.

If there is no .sp files, what we need to do?

There is a way to decompile .smx to .sp?

How we can do the reverse, we can compile .sp to .smx so how to do the reverse method?

i think it possible to decomplie it but againts the terms of the license to distribute Sourcemod plugins and extensions without at least an offer of the source.
