Fast downloads :O

i have fastdownloads set on my server

for some reason its going slow i think its the web host so does anyone know a host thats free that allows .mdl, .sprs, etc?

Free services rarely allow hosting files. Your best option is to pay for one.

That is an extremely subjective question. Use a well known provider and make sure hosting files is not against their TOS.

Paid hosting allows anything except the usual restrictions like child nudity and illegal content

Try the GSP in my signature. They offer webhosting for $0.99/month. You get 1 GB of space and 50 GB of bandwidth. I'm pretty sure thats enough for your fast download...unless you have like a map database.

It might be a capitalisation issue - the web server is running Linux, by default the names of folders and files are case-sensitive. Your subfolders are spelled "tNhBeta" - try renaming them to lower case (tnhbeta).

There's a module for Apache (the web server software) which allows case-insensitive matches, it's called "mod_speling" (the missing l is deliberate). Maybe the web hosting company could install it if you ask nicely?
