Preserve Flag Broken?

Is the tf2items preserve attribute flag broken?

When I preserve and alter attributes, it works as usual.
However, when I try to remove some, like the laugh attribute from the holiday punch, it still makes people laugh. For years now, removing the attributes by setting to 0 and not preserving, it's not made people laugh.

Some other weapons are doing this as well.

What build of TF2Items are you running?

Run 'sm exts list', then 'sm exts info [number]' from the list for TF2Items.

I'm having the same issue and I'm running this version which is the newest version posted here: https://builds.limetech.io/?p=tf2items

This might have been a issue month/s ago and I'm just realizing it now cause my players did report some issues in the past.

Also I'm using Windows OS.

This is unfortunate timing, I'll need to pull the source code from backup and move it over to Github before I can take a look.
