Antiflood with name change spam protection
 

I made this modified version of antiflood.sma awhile back. Replace your old one. Make sure to have engine module enabled.

It defines a new cvar: amx_nameflood_time, default at 10.0 seconds.
If you try to change your name more often, you just can't and no spam whatsoever should be printed anywhere but on the namespamming client.
Just set cvar to to maybe 600 seconds or whatever you like. No need to change your name more often than that huh?

More cvars (new since 050110):

"amx_nameflood_maxwarnings" (default 0)
Set this to the amount of warnings that should be sent to an offender before he will be kickbanned. If this is 0 the kickban feature is completely disabled.
Ie set this to 5, and the fifth time an offender receives the "Stop flooding the server!" msg he will also get kickbanned.

"amx_nameflood_banminutes" (default 0)
This is the amount of minutes a name flooder should be banned for. 0 is permanent ban.

"amx_nameflood_useamxbans" (default 0)
Set to 1 to ban using "AMXBans", a plugin by YoMama. http://www.xs4all.nl/~yomama/amxbans/ or http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=1186
This bans currently with the following form in server console:
amx_ban <minutes> <steamid> "Name change flooding"

sometimes it works, sometimes if does not.

most of the time it catches it and continously says *stop name spaming* (or something like thst)

and some times it says nothing, and allowes you to change names..

Set the time to 9999 seconds and see...

You sure, I have yet to see anyone successful name spam, especially ppl that try to use a name spammer with a cheat they run.

It will allow you to change your name but you can't sit there and change your name every second and this plugin does it's job.

EDIT: Wow, he posted the same time I did.

Some bind the change name command to their direction (moving) keys, so they don't have to type everytime they change their names.

a lot of new cheats has name spammers now so this stops cheaters from at least doing the annoying name spam (This makes it hard to kick/ban ppl do when someone spams names).

Actually feel free to try this out with any namespamming cheat you can find, on one of your insecure servers... See if anything can get through. But it should be impossible really.

I made a name spaming script myself and tried changing my name every half-second and it won't let me everytime I tried. I think your plugin works great.

Im going to ask our admins if they have sean any annoying name changescripts since I installed this plugin.
