Linking motd from motd
 

I want to have a second motd.txt, and link to it from the other motd.
Is this possible?

I have no place to host a website, so I need to do it this way.

No, links only function when opening a page.

Yes. You can link as much motds as you want. You might want to save the 2nd motd file as a *.html file, I'm not exactly sure if a *.txt file link will be rendered as a web page properly in the window. With plugins like above you can open a motd window whenever you want.

When sending pages from your server (show_motd, motd.txt, whatever) you can't link to other such pages that are found on your server. You can only link pages using the HTTP/HTTPS protocol.

No. That plugin adds chat commands which open the MOTD window. It does not change how the MOTD functions. As state previously, links in the content of the MOTD can only link to web pages that are on the public internet.
