Unfortunately, because the community is so small and few people are actively using AMX Mod X, it might never have a new official release. However, you can manually upgrade to either 1.9.0+ or 1.10.0+.

You can find and download all the files for the latest build of 1.9.0 here.

Due to a recent kernel update at my GSP, we had to update our server to use 1.9.0.

The community is much smaller now due to CSGO become F2P and this game engine is so old already.

Since 1.8.2 is deemed as stable for so long, large among of people just gonna stick 1.8.2
I think it is better to push 1.9 to official release so at least the remaining AMXX user need to move to 1.9 then release patches later on the line when there more people using it and found bug for it.

I've updated the AMTL used in 1.10 to support C++14, but I won't be officially pushing it because of one contributor's displeasure with my coding.

Bots are guys, it's gender X from what I've read. I have a project at work where we are building this into our systems for customers.
