help cant update cs:go server
 

hey guys
when i try to update my server its showing me a problem:

Update state (0x0) : Timed out waiting for update to start, bailing.
Error! App '740' state is 0x206 after update job.


i run steamcmd
and login anonymous..
force install to the folder
and
app_update 740 validate
later i try with
app_update 740
i try to search for that problem but i didnt got any idea why its now working
i check my space but i have enogh space i think

BTW IM USING CENTOS7 LINUX

**UPDATE: i try to install a new server with the update its work but why i cant do it on my old server?**

I had same error but just made more space. It needed alot.

how much space the update need i have more than 20gb free....

Check to make sure the space it is downloading to is the space that is free.

For some reason had the exact same issue. If your server has a custom mod, delete all default maps if you aren't using them (de_dust2, de mirage . . .) And try updating. If it doesn't work try deleting all pak files in csgo folder, run update and then validate. This worked for me.

That just means you didn't have enough space, and deleting the files that take up the most space fixed the space issue.

i REinstall my server and now its work fine tnx anyways..
