Let's talk about new features in plugins
 
We started a discussion on Github (https://github.com/alliedmodders/amxmodx/issues/609) to talk about new features for plugins.
The purpose is to accumulate all the people ideas, to get a good overview and to decide what to do exactly before we go wild into any changes.

Feel free to contribute.

You can answer here too if more convenient for you but that would be welcomed to do it on the Github page.

I would like 1.6 to have the UI functionality as CS:GO so I don't have to feel so disabled when I play 1.6. I don't know if that's something that can be done with an AMX plugin (or suite of plugins), but it would be really nice.

It's not about plugins but anyway.
I wonder if we can have an enhanced "switch" to work with strings.
Something like this:

He is submitting a request to make strings available to be used with "switch", not asking if he can do it.

If this thread is still active Arkshine, sql close connections or a timeout system that works with mysql, or anything else we use on these forums that uses an external database. Not sure why the current AMXX versions have this problem and what was lost in the older versions.

Hello there. I hope someone of amxx developers will se that. So for now modules will load if some plugin require it or if it directly written in config file. But if plugin will turn off on some map, module will be still on some 3d party modules makes strange things, so that would be nice if no plugin require a module it will unload.
Also it can not be unloaded even with "meta unload" so it will be nice if module list will update with every change of map.

I If this string is as yet dynamic Arkshine, sql close associations or a break framework that works with mysql, or whatever else we use on these gatherings that uses an outer data set. Not certain why the current AMXX forms have this issue and what was lost in the more seasoned adaptations.

To add a new feature, go to Features > Add New:
Add a title in the title field.
Add some content in the post editor.
Add an image through the Featured Image panel.
Add an URL in the Feature Details panel.
