Get steam id or community id from not your own server
 

Is it possible to get steam id or community id of players from a server which i do not own?
Like a game monitor but for steam id or community id of players in that server?

You can get anything that is available via the protocol. This does not appear to include the SteamID of players. You'd either need RCON or to connect to the server. I'm not aware of any other methods.

Of course not, the server queries don't retrieve steamids. The way to monitorize it is sending a rcon with "status" command and parsing the answer, rcon_password is needed.
