haha lol i couldn't find a offtopic section under the source forums but here u have it ppl this mod has just been released after 3 yrs of development check out http://www.insmod.net/ their site is slow cuz their gettin so much load... im dlin it right now usin fileplanet and im number 2000 in the lines waitin 1 hr...

Personaly I find it bad taste to make a game of War on Irak when thousands of people are actualy diying there. Saw the screenshots and it looks a very good game but... It's that infamous notion of total lake of respect and empathy.

Mhmm... it's a game.

Also, those people that go to war for what they believe know what they're going to be dealing with. They do it with their own consent, no one needs to show them pity.

Anyway, I'll be downloading this once the line gets smaller... -_-

I was already thinking it, but the fact that they used an unregistered version of an install creator that only costs £32 leads me to believe another Valve buy-out is on the cards - at least if the game is as good as everyone says it is.

This game needs work.

SourceMod forums have a "General" section, you know.

And yes, I agree that if the game specifically calls it Iraq, it's not really kosher. Using the 24 trick of unnamed middle-eastern countries is a good idea.

This only express the complete lack on good sense when releasing a game to the public. It's like doing a game on the 9/11 thing or the Tia-na-men massacre. Or the palestinian suffering. Or even more extreme of a child molester, or Johny the rapist example or anything real that caused suffering to people.
