OH i just read that last part of your comment, then yes i guess you need the TCP open on both as well. I just dont use the TCP but some do.. i think thats it.

According to NFO's support, they "don't have anything on our end that would be blocking TCP connections."

Yeah so the servers do get the admins updated and all (after mapchange) which means the plugin works fine and so does the database. It's just the webserver that, for some reason, can't send the sm_rehash command to the gameservers.

Surely it has something to do with the TCP bit not going through though?

I have no clue how to test a tcp connection on a server, so i did some googling on youtube, you might want to do the same as you know what to look for, but i found this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WMTIWLWUo4

i dont know if that will help or not... it does say in the description it will test ucp tcp

hope that helps.

They're wrong. They're obviously blocking internal connections based on your debug output and screenshot. Try with them again.

I'm not sure what the issue could be, I use NFO and have no problem sending commands to the servers through the webpanel.

Wireshark is one way I suppose.

Are you using NFO for both your webhost and gameserver? And are you hosting your MySQL database on the webserver?

Yes, I was doing all of the above successfully for a solid 6 months until I decided to move all of my databases over to a Linux vps for the sake of speed (their web hosting is very slow and inconsistent at times).

Apparently my issue was that I didn't have -usercon set in the commandline.

Code:

-usercon
This enables RCON.
