[CSGO/ANY?] punish instant bomb explode/defuse (fixed false bans)
 

Here is a quick plugin to help deal with a new cheat feature that allows the user to cause the bomb to instantly explode and to defuse instantly. It will permanently ban a client if the bomb_planted and bomb_exploded or bomb_begindefuse and bomb_defused are less than a second apart.

Hopefully this won't be needed for long.

Edit: Important, I was half asleep when I wrote this and didn't think through every combination of events. This is entirely my fault for trying to fit the plugin into as few lines as possible. People may have been banned for someone tapping the defuse less than a second before the bomb exploded.

Thanks for the plugin.

I've a question, is there any sort of way to combat the exploit with SourceMod in any way to prevent the possibility of the exploit in any way? I understand banning them as an option, but I am generally curious if it possible.

Oh yes, this is happening in prime matchmaking. A buddy showed me a video from a game he played last night with one of these losers in prime mm.

From what I've seen with the way this works, I *believe* SMAC will block & ban usage of this with the eyetest module, although I cannot be certain, so don't take my word for it.

Regardless, nice release Domino! Always appreciate shutting these cheating jerks down.
