[L4D] Drop Weapon
 

Bind a key to sm_drop, or type in chat !drop (public trigger) or /drop (private trigger) to drop the weapon you are holding on the ground for another survivor to use.

If you allowed dropping arbitrary weapons, put the weapon name after the command to drop it.

l4d_drop_version (1.1) - Version CVAR
l4d_drop_specify(1) - Whether or not to allow a player to drop a weapon they are not holding.

1.1 - Because so many people requested it, you can now drop an arbitrary weapon without having to be holding it.

i realized today that you can't only drop your primary weapon, you can drop also 1 pistol, the explosive, pills or medkit :O

this is useful when the one in the ground is the one who has the pipe bomb, just drop the pipe so the others can grab the pipe bomb (or mollys if the tank it's chasing)

Well, since you can only equip your pistol while incapped, you'll only drop your second pistol if you have one.

Hmm....What if you have a single pistol when you're incapped, and a teammate drops his second pistol on/beside you to defend yourself. Would you be able to pick it up?

No, it's standard L4D that you can't pick up anything while you are incapped.

With this plugin? no. Is it possible? Yes, the DropSlot function in this plugin lets you specify any slot you want to drop, this plugin just always chooses the slot you have equipped.
