Is there any official release date for 1.9 and 1.10 test start?

1.10 is also available for download: https://www.amxmodx.org/downloads-new.php?branch=master

Is AMXX v1.8l2 be the last stable build forever?
It looks like 1.9 is still in beta, and 1.10 was already released as dev build, so ...
That makes me think that 1.9 will just eventually make into 1.10 dev if it dien't already, and there's never ever gonna be a stable amxx again. Now, I know, people request many things, but I think it's time for 1.9 to become a stable build and 1.10 to be worked on as dev build.

As said the news, 1.9 is the next stable version, but due to the large changelog, we need people to test it.
1.9 is focusing only on bug-fixes, but unfortunately, there are not many involvements on Github.

When 1.8.2 was released it also had bugs. But they was fixed.
It's a normal developing process: you release one version, find bugs, fix it and release new version.
It's a shame to have the same stable version for six years.

It's because it's a major version and it has been many years without new releases that you would want to release a new version 'stable' as much as possible before making it official. There will be always bugs, but this particular upgrade should be at least without pain or the smoothest as possible and that's the whole point asking people to test it.

I see. So 1.9 will become a stable build after all.
Anyways, just a question. I want to make a sven co-op server soon, I'll need the g_pGameRules signature if you could make it. Thanks !

As i can see, on github, nobody reports anything, but people use 1.9, that means it has no bugs (at least the critical ones).
Since Christmas is coming, this is the right time to release 1.9 as stable version.
It will be a great gift for the whole community.

i'm glad that this thing is still alive. i have tons of games but CS have a priority after many years and amxx made a huge effort to keep hl games up. what i really miss are a complex voting/mapvoting like deagle's map manager and an afk managing stuff. and banning should be like amxbans. 3rd party plugins are pretty outdated sadly.
