Some commands will work, some won't. But nothing will post on the screen.
Using linux base and cstrike 1.8.3-dev4913. Default plugins, all modules loaded.

Using mysql database for admins and not users.ini file.

I can buy some weapons, but not bullets. Strange issues.. Don't worry is just a test server for 1.8.3

Try updating Metamod to a current version.

And which is the latest version and from where !?
On metamod.org the latest is 1.20, but i have installed 1.21p37

You can also try to put in your metamod/config.ini: debuglevel 8, then start your server/restart and paste what you get.

i've tried amx_plugins and i don't get any print in the console
i've tried amx_cvar sv_restart 1 and any other sv/mp command. it works, but no print in console or chat.
maybe its because admin is on sql and not users.ini ?

***Just noticed that it says build 4911, but i've downloaded the very top builds from http://www.amxmodx.org/snapshots.php for linux base/cstrike, and there it says build 4913

No, nothing worked, so i reverted back cu 1.8.2 :(

Do you think you could try again? Just a temporary server, it will be helpful to understand what's happening.

- Install latest revision (base and cstrike), use metamod 1.21-am and make sure you upload everything
- First, do you have SELinux or similar? If so, try to disable it or set it on permissive, then start your server and see it it helps.
- If not, stop your server, add meta_debug 8 in server.cfg, starts your server and past the whole output here (the first start I mean).
- You can paste "meta game" output as well.
