I ordered new storage drives (1TB SSD and 2TB HDD)
 

It's annoying when even 500GB SSD suddenly fill up with few games, which include high resolution texture. (refresh Hitman, Hitman 2 and Resident Evil 2)
And to get benefit to those textures you need bigger GPU vram and maybe play in 4K resolution... what sucks.

2 x 250GB HDD also get filled all kind crap what I download from internet and installing SRCDS from each HL2 based games (cs:s, cs:go, tf2, l4d, l4d2 so on...)

I'm out of space!

When I get those, I need go through boring, long ass progress to backup some important files, windows install (to unused Samsung 750 evo 250 GB, old is 120GB and it's 50% free).

Usually I lose my usernames and passwords to different sites, then I maybe come back as new forum user :D

I prefer running 4 10TB HDD with RAID 5 for storage and a 2TB SSD for swapping out any games that need a fast load.

That sure is good backup storage :D
I used to play with RAID 0 with HDD when SSD wasn't yet sell in stores or was very expensive.
And I manage broke RAID 0 setup when hassle with BIOS settings.

...I would think your kind setup in future. Maybe net storage, NAS ? connect to router.

I wait first Ryzen 5000 series benchmarks, perhaps build new PC to replace my good old horse i7-2600K

I turned my old computer into a server with RAID storage and a simple 120GB SSD for the OS. It runs my Docker, Plex, Kodi, iTunes, magnets, Spiceworks, samba shares, and various multiplayer games for my family (Minecraft, CS:GO, Terraria, Factorio, and others).

My friend has the same processor as yourself with an 1080 TI, his current limitation is his CPU and is looking to get the 5 series as an upgrade.

...oh god. Now I made big mistake.
I ordered AMD R9 5950X with other components. At least CPU is out of stock for now...
I don't assume it will arrive before christmas :D hopefully it come in January, my birthday present.
