CSGO server on Google Cloud Platform
Hello guys, I'm planning to host a csgo server on google cloud.
Can n1-standard-1 run a 128tick 5v5 pug server? |

Re: CSGO server on Google Cloud Platform
Hi,
I'm using GCP for custom match servers, but not for public use (where you can join from community browser). From my experience, n1-highcpu-2/n1-highcpu-4 is required to create 5v5 128tick servers. Also, if you're planning to create public server for people to join from the community browser, it will not work as Google's IP is located in the US. For example, if you create servers in asia-southeast, you will receive an IP that is located in the US, thus people living in SEA will not found the server unless by tags. Hope it's useful. Thanks |
