Admin/Steam ID Heros & Setting level
 

I have 2 questions and if you guys could help i would extremely appreciate it.

1) Is there any way to set a person's level through the vault.ini ? I know how to set it ingame if the person is on using amx_shsetlevel, but i would like to be able to set peoples levels when either the person or I am i currently not in the game.

2) Is there anyway to prohibit people from using a hero using STEAM_ID? Like the Uncle Sam hero but not using the admin immunity flag but using STEAM_ID. I have already checked this out http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...p?t=30864+hero and know how to do it using admin. :?:

1. i dont think you should mess with the vault...but i ahve changed lvls thru the vault 8)
2.no you cant make steam id only heros

Im not a newb to running my own server. I know how to handle the vault. so can you tell me how to change the levels?

just do it in the console......

you can type it all in the server console, that is what I do when I am not in game, it is funny to see, "wait, where is admin, I didn't know admin was here" I spawn monsters or uberslap from server console

also, I think that banning is done with the no powers.cfg

I only mess with high level players who get like 50 kills and don't leave any for low level

back to my probelem.

i dont want to ban people from using all heros, i just one 1 person to use a certain hero (i.e. i only want myself to be able to use my hero)

and i want to be able to switch someones level if they are not currently in the game using vault.ini
