yes this changed because you didn't had "life", not everyone are pro like you and not everyone know the colorchat.inc thing.

Everyone using colored chat in any form should not use it as an include. Instead, include it inside of the original plugin. That way, you don't have to compile it locally and you don't need to search for the right version of it.

THIS! It's incredible how many people I've seen on other forum search for help because they couldn't compile a plugin because of colorchat.inc, because it differed from author's. It's like every other online compiler which has colorchat.inc uses another version.
