New Hale voice lines
 

We've got another try at the voice lines from Chronos, give 'em an ear and let me know what you think about the style of the voice. If they're well received he'll record more, else he'll change the style to fit what you guys think.

He's intentionally made the voice less shouty and more restrained, so let us know if it does or doesn't fit Hale well.

Also please point any community members of yours that play FF2/VSH here so we can get the opinion of a wider range of people than the category of "server operators".

you should put these type things in a youtube video and imbed =|

they're pretty good, but the old ones have more force, as if he's yelling. These seem a lot more calm and less action-packed.

Yeah, it seems like Saxton Hale should be more actiony.

I stand by my statements in the old thread (https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...8&postcount=22) for the voices in general. Sorry to the guy who voiced them!

I will say that these are better than 01-06 from VS Saxton Hale (2) in the old thread. I just don't think the voice fits Hale in general though.

I feel as there's a lack of passion in the voice compared to the current one, it doesn't have that same seriousness and a sense of urgency in the voice.
I just don't get same "Wow! Shit!" reaction like when current hale voice says "I'll beat you to death with my BARE HANDS!" compared to this new one.

It's kinda difficult to elaborate further to explain what I mean, as I'm not native english speaker but I do like the sound, it just doesn't fit my description of a hale voice should be in general.

If he re-recorded these lines, but with a bit more passion and louder, i could get to liking these new lines
