Introducing the Jackal Commander!
By Amphioxus The Jackal Commander is the overseer of the criminal organisation Jackal, an organisation that will do anything to get their hands on the high-tech equipment of CDA that is plastered across post-apocalyptic London. Although he prefers to remain anonymous, the Jackal Commander has agreed to come out of his mother's basement for a day, or maybe two, to try to hire the TF2 mercs. Unless they have other plans... https://image.ibb.co/fvtkVd/kj.png Stats: Health: (((810+n)*n)^1.04) Lives: 1 Rage Damage: 3600 Max Speed: 340 Damage per swing: 195 Notes: Since this is my first boss, I decided to stick quite close to the default stats -------------------------------------------- Abilities: 1. Rocket Boots - Stealing prototype rocket boots from CDA is no problem for Jackal. Convincing someone to strap them on is an entirely different story. Force: 0.9 Cooldown: 8 seconds Charge Time: about 1 second Notes: Brave Jump was always my favourite ability in Freak Fortress, so I decided to adapt it into my first boss 2. RAGE: SMG-9 - Although you could consider him physically incompetent, that in no way takes away from the fact that the Jackal Commander considers himself an ace with any gun. Clip Size: 15 Damage per shot: 62 Duration: Infinite Uber Time: Gain an uber while loading in the clip Notes: If you've ever played Dirty Bomb, you'd know the power of the guns. I'd imagine the sound cue + the clip load time + the high damage fall off + depending on player aim (more so than a rocket launcher or grenade launcher in many instances) should make it fair. Also are you saying making yourself hard to hit is not possible when up against hitscan weapons?

making yourself hard to hit is not possible unless you move as fast as a scout especailly when the boss have 20 clip
also i am just gonna be honest and say giving the boss a hit scan weapon is not new/interesting/unique xd its a good start and thats it |

In terms of originality, I'm mostly interested in making the character unique, while also making him fun to play as/against, not necessarily a highly original idea in terms of combat. That's something I'm thinking of expanding to later on, especially as my knowledge of plugins and boss creation is only in its infancy. Quote:

making the character unique does not help the game play at all so imo its better to not pay too much attention into that
