Losing Team Slayer (aka. Autoslay, Defuse or Die)

CVARS:
  • lts_minplayer
    • 1 - 32 = Number of connected players needed for plugin to start slaying.
    • Default: 3
  • lts_slaymsg
    • 0 = Off
    • 1 = Reason of slay is sent in chat to the slayed players.
    • Default: 1
  • lts_slay
    • 0 = No slay
    • 1 = Losing team get slayed
    • Default: 1
  • lts_enabled
    • 0 = Plugin Disabled
    • 1 = Plugin Enabled
    • Default: 1
  • lts_target_bombed
    • Default: "[LTS] Defuse the bomb or die trying!"
  • lts_target_saved
    • Default: "[LTS] Plant the bomb or die trying!"
  • lts_bomb_defused
    • Default: "[LTS] Protect the bomb at all times!"
  • lts_all_hostages_rescued
    • Default: "[LTS] Keep CTīs away from the hostages!"
  • lts_hostages_not_rescued
    • Default: "[LTS] Rescue the hostages or die trying!"

I'd suggest you add a message to people being slayed like.

PrintToChat(i, "[LTS] You failed to win, now pay the price!");

Or some such.

I had to read this thread so I could figure out what the "Loosing Team" was. I was a little disappointed to realize it was the "Losing Team."

Yea thats a embarrassing mistake that have a nasty habit of happening to people when they write in a foreign language. :oops:

is there a reason, why it has to be 10 people to be online?
otherwise it looks like a good plugin.

im about o make a cvar to change that and set 3 as default. also add a chat msg to the slayed people explaining why they died, also with a on/off cvar.

if itīs not set to 3 connected or more the two first players that join the game get slayed when they spawn because the round ends and the first real round starts.

Don't worry about it. :)

It's much more common with native english speakers (at least Americans) than those writing english as a second language.

I love this idea for a plugin, but my personal opinion of it would be twice as high if the slaying happened AFTER the bomb went off... that was people that actually ARE trying don't get punished.

Is this an easy fix? I was thinking about tinkering with it myself to figure it out, but I don't know if I could get it, and obviously you know more about it.

i realize its been a while since this post. but for clarity's sake. its only in version 1.3 that cts trying to defuse the bomb get punished. use the previous version still available in first post to avoid this.

Yeas, it's work better when slay is delayed even 1 second.
Bomb explode, players ragdolls fly more realistic.
(And if use server command phys_pushscale "10" make look more powerful)

Not like "fall down barefoot" if slay works at the same time bomb explode.

Lindgren great plugin.
I use your creation on our dedicated dust2 servers.

I do have one suggestion.
Is it possible to add an admin check to the plugin?
With the possibility that the plugin could disable itself if admin is present on the server?

This would allow the plugin to maintain control when no admin is around,
and auto disable when an admin is present.

Just an idea and thank you for sharing your work ... :)

These both works same as first post plugins, I only fix it to work new [OB]Counter-Strike Source

I like version 1.2.0.5 because it have delay before slay to losing team.
CT get killed by C4-bomb explode before it slayed.

Version 1.3.3 it slay immediately and it not look so realistic.. CT "fall down barefoot" when bomb explode. Not good ragdoll physics

Great plugin. I love the idea of this plugin. I have a hint. Is it possible to create logging event e. g. "autoslay"? so that I can track rankers to hlstatsx ce. In logs I can only see: committed suicide with "world" but I dunno how to track this to hlx ce

i cant get the plugins to work no one get slayed.
i can see if i type "sm plugins" in the console the plugin is loaded.
can some one plz help me?

I have a suggestion. Could not add the following cvars?

lts_slay 0
lts_remove_weapon 1
lts_remove_cash 1

For survivors not meeting objectives at the end of the round, lose their money or lose their weapons, according cvar.

Rewrote the plugin with fixing the author's errors (like creating console variables in OnMapStart) and various improvements.
Also added support for translations (the attached translation file contains English, Russian and Ukrainian localizations).
Syntax left old (SM1.6 and older).
