Finally going to invest in a server for CS 1.6.
What are the most popular? The reason I'm making this is not for a clan, but to actually make money selling admin, and ofcourse have fun playing on it.
How do you think the best way to make money would be, by selling admin. I mean, what mod is the most popular where people want to buy it.
Need opinions.
Good opinions may result in free admin :up:

Well putting a hole bunch of extra fun plugins helps as well. Hats, some magic marker plugin I believe, amx_super obviously, etc...

Not listening companies cause last time some guy -karamed me for doing that (no right to...)

Best mod imo = pokemod.
btw: try buying a server website, if you get enough traffic make money selling ads.

simple mod is booring :| so i'll sugest you to use biohazard :) everybody will enjoy :P and is pretty funny :stupid:

Well there is many hosters some cheap is
Bloodservers
game servers(i think they only got for linux)
but these are only 2 of many hosters well and not only sell admin is good also "vip plugins" is too like galoreservers that vip members can have hats and pi on enemys and the zombie mods well taking over the game so i would think thats a good one but you should personalise it a little and have a forum where they can vote or have a vote in your motd (http://www.xat.com/web_gear/poll.php take html add to the txt file you want as motd and add a plugin for /motd)
and also a buy option is if you get superhero mod sell levels ;)

When starting a server , you dont make money so easy ... no matter what mod your running

Ive said it before:
Dont waste money on too many slots for the first month
Buy the minumum amout of slots possible, then after a month (if you need them) ask for a slot upgrade
You cn cave urself about $20 from doing this

Ya, listen to minimiller he is really right it takes time for your server to get popular so start off small 10-14 slots id say.

as for an idea ive only seen 1 server like this was called pugzilla i think they had like a multimod server where at the beggining of each map you choose the mod you wanna play and it reloads the map with it activated. i think it is shut down not though cause i cannot find it anymore.

Is there really 'money' in CS 1.6 servers specially in selling admin/reserved slots? Hehehe. Just wondering.

I've never thought of monetizing CS 1.6 servers this way.

i think alter it goes to 0 1 month cause then they have it but you still got a bill to pay ;) you need a money/month that is pop to make it give money i think
