Deleting old bans is a mere bandaid and does not solve the root issue, this will keep happening to you. Ensure your database structure is correct (check indexes, also try creating a new installation in a separate database to compare), also check the performance of the machine you are running on.

Deleted some cooms , and bans submissions and contest :) Thank you a lot
