[CS:GO] Custom Radio Sounds [1.2 / 2020-03-10]
 



Description
Change radio sounds by model.



Install
  1. Upload plugin to your server.
  2. Add your models and sounds to kento_radio.cfg, and don't forget to upload sounds to both server and fastdl.
  3. Included zombie radio sounds and female zombie radoi sounds from CSNZ.
  4. Here's a list of available radio commands.
  5. You can also download radio sounds from Gamebanana.

It works fine with radio commands but automatic responses are not working (throwing grenades, planting, etc.) It also looks like break something in soundcache, because I hear throwing grenade responses every time I'm picking up/buying items.

  • Fix custom radio not working in some maps.
  • Fix custom radio not working in bot.
  • Fix custom radio not playing in some commands. (planting bomb...etc)

Thanks for update. I also tested with bots.
Now bomb planting response works but grenade responses still don't (buffer and sample vars are empty in debug message).

Any ideas why models with only numbers in name fail to be added into g_model array?

Hi, I have fixed your model problem in latest version.
You have to remove your // in your grenade sound setting.

That's weird, radio works when I throwing a grenade in my test server.
Can you tell me the name of the map you're testing in?
Different map has different Cstrike_TitlesTXT params.

thanks! now its works!, do you know if there a way to block spam messages from radio so the people can't spam sounds every 1 sec..for example a radio sound every 5 seconds.

  • Updated example configs with zombie and female zombie sound sets, sound files are also added.
  • You can use folder in cfg now. For example, "models/player/custom_player/zombie/" will apply your settings to all models in the folder.
  • Deleted anime sounds, will add back soon.

Update 1.2
  • Add "needdrop", "goa", "gob" and "sorry"
  • Fix some radio sounds for people who have agent model.
  • You can set folder as model path now.

This plugin is so weird, it is only work on the first model in kendoradio.cfg but not the other models even i have check everything and nothing is error. How to fix this problem?

Can you post your confog file?

oops NVM i have this problem

Solution: I put extra " in my command and i have delete which cause the plugin work again
