VSH/FF2 Bots
 
Hello!

Im planning to release a sm plugin that makes bots on vsh or ff2 work.

Does anyone want it to be released?

Small update here...

I have thinkin about this whole night and...i dont know should i or should i not release it.

Workin bots on my server is whole servers keyfeature...

After releasing this i would not have any exclusive features on my server.

Please give me a reason why i should release it.

This would he handy since I do a lot of testing with bosses on my server but it's just boring if the bots sit in spawn

I do agree with Transit here-it's a bit hard to test some things when all the bots do is sit and shoot at you (or, in the case of spies, refuse to backstab you).

Though if you want to keep it private to help your server have an advantage I totally understand.

Spies will backstab you if the map has a .nav file, i.e. 2fortdesk. Engies will also build but where they build is pretty random.

Funny thing though, if a medic is LMS and the map has a .nav file, they fire a few syringes at you and then suicide. It's pretty hilarious.

You should release it because

1. Is this actually complicated to do in some way? Did you go and code your own AI or something?
2. Do most people actually not leave servers as soon as they see there's only bots there?
3. Still useful for testing some scenarios...

I mean I notice bots in arena only seem to move after the round ends, mayhaps you can just SendProxy some roundend netprop to bots only to make them run around.
