Question does turbo boost technology make a difference ?

hi

so let's say i have 2 processors

1 - Intel-Core-i3-2130, 3.4 GHz (has no turbo boost)
http://ark.intel.com/products/53428/...Cache-3_40-GHz

2 - Intel-Core-i5-2300, 2.8 GHz (has turbo boost 2.0)
http://ark.intel.com/products/52206/...up-to-3_10-GHz

which one of them is more powerfull to run only 1 hlds server ?

oh ok sorry about that ...

the answer is i3-2130 will be more powerfull then i5-2300 in single-threaded performance by 8 %

and in multi-threaded programs i5-2300 will be more powerfull by 35 %
