Claidheamh Mor Weapon Problem

hey guys need some help here been working on a boss (Demo Samedi) with Claidheamh Mor i ran into a problem after i attach it using crowbar in the HLMV the sword looked fine but ingame
when the demo swing it he hits the red team with the side of the weapon not the edge.. i have no clue how to fix this.
Can everyone help please.

did you paint the sword mesh to the hand bone or weapon bone

Problem is i used crowbar attach it so i don't know what bone it's attached to.
