Bug Mod

2 Attachment(s)
  • This plugin spawns bugs into the game. The bugs do not hurt you or anything, they just move around waiting to be squashed or shot. Bugs squeek, and when they die they emit a death sound and blow up O_o.
    CAN NOW BE NADED TOO!

Commands (Flag "p"):
    • amx_bugmod - <1/On 0/Off>
    • amx_bugmod_speed - Speed Bugs Spawn (Defaulted to 5) <speed>

CVARs:
    • bugmod_max_bugs - Max number of bugs that can be in the map at one time.
      • Defaulted to 50
    • bugmod_runspeed - Speed that the bugs run at.
      • Defaulted to 2

Models + Sounds
Put models and sound folders into your mod directory.

How is this on cpu usage? Sounds interesting and would like to try it, if I can fit it in.

EDIT: I just finished looking at the .sma. I see its using prethink and pfn_touch. Will this interfere with runemod just as twisted's multijump plugin did?

GHW_Chronic 03-11-2006 04:29

pfn_touch will not cause problems if it is in more than one plugin, and prethink is not the same as client_PreThink that runemod, and all those other plugins use. It will cause no compadability problems. Not too much CPU usage, I just set the amount of bugs to 500 and it had to calc velocity and everything for 500 bugs and that caused a lot of lag, so keep it <100 and ~50.

Sweet, Ill test it out with runemod. It may be a little addition but its the little things that count(I think)
