Advertising..?

What is the best way of advertising a site/forum? I've tried to post on some forums, but they remove these posts. :(

signature , banners maybe a popup script but i wont recommend that nobody likes them and they are probably blocked.

I've already putted the site in my sig, doesn't help T_T. Also i would need some free or cheap advertising

Just advertise in your game server. Presumably your site is geared towards the players on your game server.

Script a plugin and for 40$ a month ill let you advertise in the server in my signature.

Right...Valve is going to be implementing advertising on CS 1.6 servers...

Hence you submit your ad to Valve to display...
